Japanese tourists wish The Fourth Druk Gyalpo happy birthday
A group of 10 Japanese tourists are in the country to pay their gratitude to Their Majesties for visiting the Tsunami affected area in 2011. The visitors are here also to celebrate the 60th Birth Anniversary of The Fourth King.
The visitors who are on a four day visit to Bhutan are alumni of the Tohoku University in Miyagi, Tōhoku Region of Japan, one of the tsunami affected areas.
The group wished His Majesty The Fourth King happy birthday yesterday at the Memorial Chorten in Thimphu by singing a Bhutanese song. The group plans to visit Phobjikha, Punakha and Paro to express their gratitude through their songs.
